my playstation 3 cant find my gioteck bluetooth headset,PLEASE HELP!!! :(?

My ps3 is brand new, its a ps3 slim, bought 2 weeks ago, my gioteck headset came 3 days ago, and i charged it fully, did everything in the instruction. I turned it on,The Headset turns on fine and makes sound when i press the volume buttons,But my ps3 cant find it, ive tried many things(e.g turning off my internet incase of interference) Please Help
 
i dont know but i'll tell u what i do in mine

(very shorten)
go to setting
then go to accesories
then go to bluetooth
thenyou'll find the name of your device (it contains numbers in the name)
click on it and click connect


if it doesnt work return your headset
