I have a Nikon N55 SLR, and lately, the photos I have taken (upon being developed) have looked gray. I can't remember if the person who developed them said they were under or overexposed. Either way... it looks like there is a gray fog over all of my photos. And about every 5 or 10 photos, the grayness goes away.
I wish I had a Digital SLR, so I could see what I was doing wrong, but unfortunately, I don't. I continue changing the aperture and shutter speed, but I still get the same result. My ending shutter speed was 1/200, and aperture was I believe F8.0. I don't know a ton about photography as you can tell, but I do know that I don't want to waste any more $$ getting my photos developed. I have done quite a bit of research on aperture and shutter speed, but still can't seem to find an answer to my problem.
I'm assuming I'm doing something wrong with my shutter speed &/or aperture.
By the way, I am basically shooting nature scenes... some close, some far away, with a zoom lens, most of the time.
Any comments would help.
Thanks
