My photo looks like a painting?

This is a link to a photo that I took while hunting deer in Nebraska. The image has dead deer in it, but please do not comment on that part. My question is 1. Does anyone else think this looks fake? 2. How is it that the light must have been perfect for everything in the picture to be shadowed like it is? 3. Any tips on getting more photos with this sort of clarity? Actually any input at all would be great as an amateur photographer.
