My phone won't let me play a game?

I have a iPhone 3GS and I upgraded to 4 using my pc anyway I bought topgun off the app store and now that I bought it I can't play it the game will run for about 10 seconds then it takes me back to my home screen what's up with that? I tried turning my phone off and then back on and then tried to run the app again and it does the same thing. WILL SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT
