my phone says incoming calls & messages out loud?

like when someone calls or texts me it says for example "call from sarah" or "message from hannah". It really annoying because I cant silence my phone in church, class, etc. And it really loud!!!!!!! I went to my at&t store where I bought it and 4 guys tried to fix it but they couldn't. I have the LG Xenon. If you can help me, I would be super happy.

Well, if you went to where you bought it and professionals couldn't fix it then i highly doubt that it's going to be working normally. Has it always been like that? Go back to where you purchased it and say that you want a new phone. Is there any water damage? I hope this helped if not I am sorry. You should get one from Rogers and Telus they are very reliable.
