It is not responding to any command, even from the remote control (I've also changed the batteries in the remote control just in case), I don't know how to access the menu features. Can anyone help and let me know how to unblock it? I've tried unplugging the TV for a bit and then overnight. It still says the same thing.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the answer, which unfortunately wasn't what I was looking for. I decided to go out and buy a universal remote control, just in case my own one was playing up and voila my tv is working perfectly fine now. No need for coding (which, by the way, can easily be found on the internet) or expensive call out to any technician. But like I said thanks anyway, I know you were only trying to help.
