control+alt+del doesn't work either. All I get is a black screen with the message: opened in safe mode, use PC to activate. I think it might have a virus; however why can't I get to the menu with the START button? (compaq hard drive; windows xp, vista, dell monitor) okay - so I got it from craigslist with NO cds to reinstall anything. Help please!
My PC keeps starting in safe mode. I keep hitting F8 but nothing happens!?
