my parents forced me to play a sport i dont wanna play!HELP!?

Hi i am 12 years old and i HATE softball! i used 2 play softball with my dad when i was little lik just for fun and he thinks im good at it. i guess i am but i just hate it! so my dad is making me play it and i dont want to he said i could end it after the season is over but i wannna quit before that i no its bad 2 just quit but i feel embaressed because i dont even no how the game works and evry1 else on my team is good except me! what should i tell my parents i already asked them if i can quit but they said no and i cied 1 time for an hor and a half straight it sux! wat should i do HELP!?????? plz
