My Panasonic tv shuts off when playing playstation 3, what can I do?

After I have been playing for approx 20 minutes the tv shuts off when I play my Playstation 3... this also happens if we use the Wii.

Is there a different cable I can buy or do I have to get a new TV? The Panasonic tv was bought in 2008. Thanks
