I have a panasonic NV-GS180 and I have had nothing but trouble installing it and using it on my computer. I have a Intel Celeron E-System with plenty of memory and RAM but it doesn't work. I have tried running the executables in compatibility mode and I have tried running as administrator.
My computer originally came with vista, however, I recently purchased and installed windows 7 (hoping it would be more compatible) but it's not.
There are no fixes or troubleshoots anywhere on the internet (that I can find) and it's getting frustrating. I desperately need the camera to link to my computer for a college project.
I managed to get some of the programs working on vista last time by searching for the executables on my computer and running them as administrator (beforehand the menu would pop up and when I clicked the install option for the three options it would come up with an error sign) however, when I plugged my camera into the computer it wasn't recognised. I tried downloading the latest drivers but I may need to attempt it again. The windows website doesn't list the camera as compatible for vista but I'm not sure about windows 7.
I desperately need to find a way to make my camcorder compatible soon. Please help. Thank you.
