I came out to my tank the other day to find a normally peaceful aquarium in turmoil!!!
I must admit having 2 oscars and 2 red devils in the same tank is asking for gang wars, but in such a large tank they have been fine until now.
To my horror the red devils had the male oscar against the far corner of the tank and were repeatedly beating into his side, mouths wide open.
They weren't really doing any damage but the nudging to the oscars side was enough to have to separate them immediately.
The oscar really only looked like he had a little scale damage, slight fin and tail bruising, but when i checked on him less than 5 hours later he had developed a WHITE FILM over both his eyes.
1 week later, he doesn't seem to be feeding properly like he is blind, sitting docile.
He is still very much alive and seems to have recovered from the ordeal apart from the white film on his eyes.
I don't know what to do.
