My Old Verizon phone

i just bought a new verizon phone. its called the v. (vx9800) it was made in 2005 and i bought it on ebay as a brand new phone. i just took out my phone and on the front keypad, the left clicker doesnt work, and neither does the 3, 6, 9, or # button. i can still open the phone and use the qwerty keyboard, but i want to know whats wrong if it was brand new. if any of you have an answer, please tell me. thanks!
 
I am bit confused by your tittle; your old phone? You bought an allegedly new phone? In any case I am assuming you purchased a phone on ebay and it is not working.

My fear is that the seller tried to pull one over on you. Did you check his/her feedback to see if there have been complaints? Get in touch with the seller right away and state the facts as you did here--it's broken, right out of the box! You should get a refund, and if you are denied it, you have rights under Paypal, if you used it, and your credit card company.

I have bought tons of stuff on ebay over the years, and most of my experiences were favorable, but there are disreputable sellers and it sounds like this may be one of them.:confused:
