My nokia 6620 will not turn on

This happened about 1 year ago. and i have bought a new phone since then. However, I miss using this one. I believe it is a software issue. I heard that you can get software to 'flash' your phone through the usb cable. Is this true? and how can someone do this? Or this there anything else that could be caussing the phone not to power on. (the phone is in perfect condition).
 
What do you mean it won't power on? Does the screen light up at all? If not, it could be your power button, since they usually go bad on those phones. I have one that I have to turn on with a key because the power button is so messed up.
