My nokia 6500 slide freezing and memory card probllem?

My nokia 6500 slide has recently been having the problem of freezing when I'm on it but it especially happens when I'm texting. It willl freeze for about 10 to 15 seconds and then it works again. Also my memory card starts to dissappear from the gallery at randoom times. Is there anywway I can solve this problem. Thanks
