My nokia 6301 only works on 900MHz,it does not work on 1900MHz and 1800 MHz?

I bought this nokia 6301 trough T Mobile USA and they sent me unlock code because I know I will be using this phone in Europa with different sim card,but from some reason my phone only works where area is cowered with 900MHz but where network is cowered with 1800MHz and 1900 MHz I do not have signal.I did try to see what should be the problem but I did not discover solution.
If someone knows what should be the problem please let me know .The phone is unlocked ant it can operate in any network but from some reason it does not operate on 1900MHz and 1800 MHz and it should be working on those MHz.
