Okay so I have two new poems
but I decided to post the MY MOTHER one again as i Edited and amended the words a little
hope you guys enjoy and as Always please I like constructive criticism
so just be honest

SHERRY
Oh dearest sherry
how I miss you so
you made me feel so wanted and merry
I remember and laugh about When you used to nip at my ankle
as I tried to escape your playful bite
The knowledge you brought me along with the wrongs and the right
The years have flown by so fast
not ever knowing where you are or where i saw you last
At times when I felt so alone and YOU crept into my bed put your head on my chest
and licked me with such an empathy and knowing
You put at ease and allowed me to rest
Or when I returned from school and there you were in the window!
Paw patting against the glass and tail waging in excited ecstasy
That sweet look on your face knowing you loved me ,that i could see
How did you know? was it an instinct within you
or was it a simple act of kindness to get me through?
I may never know why But what you did for me
contributed to who I am today and for that i was proud to be, what seemed so shortlived your owner and your friend!
What else can one say?
Except that I am sure you were a God send
In all that i do and all that I am you remind me
That I once had a pup who loved me eachday

and now the My mother poem
My mother:
From the womb whence we came
you passed along the love and knowledge
for us to inherit
So one day we too shall give unto our children
the same love and merit
You were always there for Me mom
when ever i was down or feeling blue
you picked me up gave me a hug and
said "no matter what you do Know I will always love you"
You always knew just what to say and do
Now As I mature and grow through your nurture
Just as a lion instinctively knows to feed her new born cubs in nature
So have you been there for me
provided A safe Haven of love and security
To make sure i reach my maturity
I know i may have been a handful at times
And even given you grief And for that I am truly sorry for my crimes
But I still am your boy the son you bore
Just now I need to Live my own life and soar
to spread my wings and fly free from the loving nest
that which you provided
I know that my anguish can now be put to rest
Know I will always Love and Honor you just as the Lord Commands us
for You were my Mentor My inspiration My friend
My mother whom loves me "No matter what" to the very end
