My new medicine is making me hungry all the time. How do I snack healthily?

I'm on a new medicine that makes me want to eat all the time. This was good at first, since I was previously on a medicine that cut my appetite and I was down to 110 pounds (my normal weight is a little under 120). But now I feel like I'm eating ALL the time! And it's not good stuff. Before I could eat crap and not worry about it since I hardly had an appetite. Now I'm craving the bad stuff and eating a LOT of it. I'm snacking all the time and feel like I end up binging.

So I know the first thing to do is get rid of all the junk food and buy fruits/veggies/other alternatives. But does anyone have PRACTICAL tips on how to either stop snacking or snack in a healthy manner? I'm so sorry if this seems like such a basic question, but I've never had to diet before so I have no idea where to start. Thank you so much, and I'll be sure to award points to whoever gives me the best tips.
