my new 2009 honda accord passenger door makes a squeaky noise, what can it be?

a couple months ago i realized my door on the passenger side was making a squeaky noise, it actually sounded like the noise was hitting metal on metal, i finally heard and saw were the noise was coming from, it was the lower coroner of my door hitting the frame of the car, it is not making the noise anymore because i opened and closed the door until the noise was finally gone but it did take some of the paint off the lower corner of the door..i think my door was uneven..does anyone know why that would happen?? the car has never been hit from the back but it was involved in a fender bender that needed my front to be repaired
