Does the Army do this or is he lying?
My nephew told his family that he was given a date to be shipped off or whatever it's called to basic training November 22, 2010. He told us he had to check in yesterday at 3:00 PM and then he was leaving for Fort Something today. Now he is telling us that it has been postponed until sometime in March. My question is does the Army really do things like this or is he not telling us the truth about signing up in the first place? He has supposedly been going in the Army now such June. Just seems kinda weird that it would take so long for things to happen.
*now since June.
