...any rights? Somehow my neighbour's terrier keeps getting in to my garden and is terrorising my cat. My Dad put up extra fencing to try and stop this happening but we can't work out where he's managing to get in. Tonight, he got in again, and my old (she's 11) but still very fast cat managed to peg it up the garden on top of the shed. The dog then ran in to my house while my neighbour was shouting "grab it by the collar" - he wasnt wearing a collar. My neighbour then came and collected hs dog and said "you have a cat don't you? Well be careful, because if he catches her..." implying that he will kill her if he gets her. Surely, this isn't my problem. He should be doing something to stop his dog from getting in to our garden. If his dog is likely to attack or even kill another animal, surley it should be supervised when it's let out into the garden. I can't keep my cat in the house forever and why should I? We've lived here alot longer than they have and we own the house where as they're renting. My cat has always been very nervous. particulary around dogs and she NEVER ventures outside of our garden (as we also live near a main road) and she definately NEVER goes in to their garden - she's far too terrified. I'm worried that one day, the dog will be successful and will kill her and I don't know what to do about it. I've written to the Citizens Advice Bureau so hopefully they can advise something.
