my mouse wont chew and his teeth are like long and sharp and i love him to death he is my first mouse?

I was going to feed him to my snake but i couldnt do it and i became obssesed with rodents but what do it do can i clip them with something or what i dont care if its not the best to do but i just dont want him to die on me like his friends and when his friend deid he became like fat FAT huge and wont run on the wheel
