My Motorola Razr Died of Battery Loss...But Won't Turn Back On Even After Charging?

I forgot to charge my Motorola Razr last night. Today, I noticed it had the flashing "Low Battery" symbol, and turned it off. Later in the day when I tried to turn it back on, it was not responding and did not turn back on. When I plugged it into the charger at home, it did not turn back on. I've left it on the charger for over an hour now and it's still not responding. A friend of mine suggested I leave it on the charger overnight and then try it again in the morning, since when a phone dies of low battery, it needs more time to recharge. Does this sound like a suitable solution? Is this circumstance common? If so, how did you fix it? Could it be my battery that is faulty? Thanks in advance.

It's probably that the battery itself died.

You should try changing it. It's really cheap, only a few bucks.

If you are afraid to spend the money w/o knowing the actual problem, though, visit your 3G Network store and ask them to check/test it for you.

Try taking your battery out and then putting it back in. My sidekick does that a lot to me and it usually works after I do that...Also check to make sure the charger is working (there is an outlet in my room that has faulty electrical wiring and a few times that I plugged my charger in, it did not charge at all) Hopefully it works for you :)
