My Motorola KRZR k1 freezes when I put my memory card in.?

I have recently bought a Motorola KRZR k1, and I wanted to put some music on it. So I bought a 4gb Lexar Micro SD memory card to put some songs on with the phone tools that i had got, but whenever i put the card in, my phone just freezes and i can't do anything on it. But when I take it out (without restarting) it works perfectly. I'm wondering what the problem could possibly be. Any ideas or comments are much appreciated. Thanks. -Jorden
