My Motorola Cliq sends text messages to the wrong people.?

Sometimes, atleast once a day when someone texts me and the message comes up in the little message widget, I'll click it and hit reply. And sometimes it won't send to the person I wanted it to.

Like, this morning my dad kept texting me asking if I was up, but I was in the shower so I couldn't reply right away so when I got out I hit reply and said yeah I was in the shower. Instead of the message being sent to my dad, it sent to my boyfriend instead.

Am I doing something wrong when replying or what?
 
Have you figured out what to do about this problem? My Cliq does the same thing and I don't know what to do...
