My Motorola Backflip is having A LOT of problems! Wont charge, wont update, and...

...yeah...what am i to do? So i tried to download the 2.1 version Android!! and well...it totally screwed up my phone! First I went on the Motorola web site and looked at my phone!! YEAAHH!! And well, they said there's a new update for it! This update would go from 1.5 to 2.1!! GREAAAAT!!! So i did what it told me to do and well....i wouldn't reboot! It went to the downloading screen thing, downloaded, rebooted (kinda), and then was left on the "M" home screen. I left it like this for some time! The website only said this would take like 10-15 minutes! well...it was on that screen for more than an hour! So i had my bud come over and look at it...well he pulled the BATTERY, thinking it was an good idea, and idk...it still doesn't work! WE COULDN'T EVEN GET IT INTO RECOVERY MODE AFTER THAT!!! Like we could turn it on but it would just stay on that SAME damn screen!!! and now its broke! its new too!!! SO we have been working on it all night and now the battery finaly died. Still to come, THE damn charger wont charge the phone!! could this get any worse!?!?!?!?! i ddon'tknow what to do, SHould i take it back to an ATT store?
