My motorcycle is not starting. No spark from the spark plug. Please help!?

I hope someone knows about this...

My 85 Honda Rebel motor blew the 1st gear out of it, so I replaced it with a newer 92 Honda Nighthawk engine... I had to use the old case and inner part of the flywheel from the rebel engine with the newer outer flywheel of the nighthawk engine.

Now everything is back together but I'm not getting a spark at the plugs.

how can i figure out what is wrong?

Go down to your local Honda shop and talk to the parts guy. Have him look up the ignition part numbers (for flywheel etc.). If the numbers are different its probably because the part is different.
