...necessary?Tablets should take life? My mother has diagnosed hypothyroidism in 8/5/2007 her SERUM TSH was 16.3 uLU/ml Dr.gave Her 2 tablets of thyroxine once in a day.In 29/08/2008 her TSH became normal to 1.50 uIU/ml and dose became single tablet that she still taking.Now tell me she should go for SERUM TSH test again and should she continue one tablet?How many days we have to leave tablets before test for correct diagnose? She has throat tension and signs of panic attacks too.
My mother should continue thyroxine tablets or not? is SERUM TSH test again...
