My mother says I'm obese? I'd like some opinions?

Hello, I am an 18 years old woman, I mesure 1.60metres high and weigh 65kilos, keep in mind that I have, and have always had, very large breasts.
My mother keeps saying that I am obese and wants to take me to a special doctor to establish a strict diet.
I know that I am a little chubby, but honestly I think saying obese is going too far. I feel well in my body, do not have trouble finding clothes that suit me, and my body is not diformed like an obese body would be. I have hips, shapes.
My weight problem does not come from an eating disorder. I started gaining weight in school, due to chronic stress according to the doctor.
I was then given birth-control pills that were way too strong for my age, so I gained alot of weight.
I am out of school now working, have stoped taking the pills, I go to the gym once a week to run an hour, and I eat like a normal person, I've never eaten in between meals or anything like that anyway.

So my question to you is. Is my weight really too much for my height? Or is it just a little too much like I think?
If it worth it going to see a doctor?
Does anyone have advice to lose the weight gained more effectively? Going to the gym is awesome and I feel great after running, but my extar kilos just don't seem to melt away.
I suppose the weight taken from medication and stress is different than weight that comes from too much food, is it harder to get rid of?

Thanks in advance. :)
