My mother in law has such a special year this year. She retires after teaching 35

years, need help. Read more? She turns 60 this year and has her 50th wedding annivserary this year too.

So her retirement party is next weekend. It will be outside on their deck that overlooks a beautiful pond. What do you think we should do? Something really awesome I hope. Can you please help me create some good ideas on what we can do.

Even if you dont't have ideas on this I would love, love to hear your thoughs on her birthday and wedding anniversary.

Sorry, She got married at 20. They have been married for 40 years, she turns 60 this year and has taught school for 35 years. Sorry for the mix up.. lol
 
first of all greet her for me, she must be truly amazing to have a daughter in law that actually wants to make her happy :) kudos to you too :)

--> get flowers that you can float on the pond, also floating candles are really pretty.

-->set out a theme, like everyone can dress up as schoolgirls/boys, medival clothes

--> A VIDEO would be cool, ask everyone to give a special message, on how great she is. that will really nice.
