lliana G seems to have the best solution. For a quicker one I have heard chopping their heads off should kill them instantly. Sounds cruel I know. =(
Mushu's been really bloated and now his belly is tearing apart. What do we do?
We don't have the heart to flush him, he's still alive.
She's thinking of freezing him. I really hope there's another way so that can be a last resort.
We need a way to put the fishy out of it's pain.
Nothing sick like putting it in bleach or vodka please. (I've heard some crazy stuff)

Vodka is actually a much better way to euthanize fish than flushing or freezing. When you flush them they are still alive for awhile, suffering in the hell of your septic lines.
Clove oil is one of the humane ways to euthanize fish, you should be able to get it in the health food section of the store. This puts the fish to sleep in small doses, and kills them in larger ones. So this way you can humanely kill the fish in it's sleep.
