My parents want me too eat fish because I'm still growing. But I'm a vegetarian! They put it on my plate once a month. I feel sick. But I don't eat it. I haven't eaten it since a pretty long time. My dad goes to work and my mom watches TV so I sneak it onto my sister's plate.
How do I tell my mom that I don't want her to put animals in my plate once a month anymore? I'm tired of even seeing that fish. One day she's going to catch me. I eat all my veggies (I love them) and I eat tofu, soy meat and everything that doesn't involve killing animals. How can I explain to her that vegetarians DON'T EAT FISH? It's an animal!

unlike meat, your eating essance of fish almost all the time.
and your wrong. some vegetarians do eat meat. youve probably eaten fish oil or something like that once and awhile.
and....honestly if your not eating fish and meat. there isnt much to eat besides vegetarian things.
just tell your mom to buy you those kinds of things. unless your like 13 or something ...its up to her. lol.

It does not matter if you are still growing, you do not need to eat fish. According to the American Dietetic Association, a well-planned vegetarian/vegan diet is appropriate for any stage of life.

I would suggest reading up on nutrition. Try to find "Becoming Vegetarian" by Brenda Davis.

You might try and find a Dietitian to analyze your diet and convince your mom that you are getting proper nutrition. I am not a vegetarian, but it sounds like you are getting enough protein. You don't sound like a picky eater either which is good too.

does your mom know you are a vegetarian? can you show her a web page that shows that fish are animals? i know this sounds silly, but some people do not get it.
good luck.
