...horribly... any ideas? she brought it to the shop and they replaced the water pump, serpentine belt, and some gasket, not the head gasket, but one that was leaking oil and causing corrosion on some hoses. now when it is driven, there is a terrible droning squeak anytime it is running over 900 rpm. also the power steering pump sounds like it is working extra hard when any turn is made. i guess i would just like to get a few ideas of what could be going on and if it is ok for her to drive daily (40 highway miles round trip).

Squeaking comes in different ways. Some came from fan belt, some from the disk or drum brakes, some from engine support, some from air filter housing or maybe the hood are not lebel.Open up your hood and listen to your engine.
