I had my mechanic who works in the Jeeper dealership look at my 5.9 limited tonight on his off hours, and he sad i have a stripped caliper bolt on the front right wheel.. Probably got stripped at the voltswagen dealership where i bought the Jeep from.
That voltswagen dealership aparently had to replace both CV axles on the Jeep before they put it up for sale... So the probably striped the caliper when putting it back together and didnt bother fixing it.
My question is, if my mechanic cant fix this... and he wasnt sure if he could.. Is this problem fixed by buying a new caliper or knuckle or whatever its called ? Or am i totally screwed and need a entire new front axle ? I dont know much about this part on the Jeeps ....
Also this is a 1998 5.9 V8 Grand cherokee
