My manual Acura wont move!!!!!!!!!?

I got stuck in the mud over the weekend. When I tried to move forward, I put my car in first gear & it would not budge so I threw it in reverse & floored it. It moved in reverse, so when I put it back in first gear, the engine rev ed but the car would not move. A fe guys in the neighborhood who saw what happened pushed my car out the mud, but not my car wont go in gear. When I rev the engine now its like I hear metal grinding. What is wrong with my car? Did I break something? Please help!! Should I junk the car & look for another one or can she be saved?
 
definately a problem with the tranny....and to be honest...anything having to do w/ the transmission...especially on an acura...is most likely going to put a dent in your pocket to have fixed...i would get a quote on repair...then compare the quote w/ the value of your car. (www.kellybluebook.com) and make your final decision that way..
