...should I do? I work at a 24 hour Walgreens and one of my managers told me that I'm going to have to work on Christmas in the photo area. However, I am a Christian and Christmas is one of our most important religious holidays (yes, it is a religious holiday, even if you don't celebrate it like that). I mentioned more than once that I can't do it for that reason.
I have only been there about a month and a half though, and the other people who have worked in photo have been there at least a year or two, if not longer. I just started learning photo though, so I don't know how well I'd do on Christmas. Also, my grandpa is coming to visit and I never get to see him cuz he lives out of state.
I think the other photo people just want the day off to see family and I want it off for religious reasons. However, cuz of seniority, it sounds like my manager is going to listen to them.
What should I do in my situation? Should I try to fight it somehow or just leave it alone? Thanks in advance for your help!
