My mac laptop broke but my hard drive works fine. I have a PC laptop now that I hate...?

I just got it because i needed a computer fast and it was 300 dollars... yes i am a very poor student. Is there anyway that I can take this crap PC hard drive out of my new laptop and slip in my MAC hard drive? Or do computers not work that way?
