walk and catch crickets again? Our baby (2 month old) bearded dragon just got over a severe case of impaction (he ate a HUGE albino cricket). He was paralized waist down, had a large hump on his spine, and was often caught upside-down after falling from climbing on the glass walls of the cage.
Well, 11 days later of warm bathes, olive-oil and apple sauce meals, and increased cage temperatures (and UVB exposure) he is showing first signs of recovery. (no vet assistance unfortunately, that was not an option cuz my parents are cheap)
-2 days ago he took a dump composed of undigested cricket parts, and from that day he gained the ability to move his tail.
-Yesturday, 2 (normal looking) dumps later, he lost *most* of the lump on his spine.
-Today, he is now twitching his back legs and *slowly* gaining control of them.
My question is...how long should it take until he will be able to walk normally? When can i expect him to start eating crickets again and not mashed baby/lizard food? When will he lose the last tiny bit of the bump on his back? How long will it take for him to be completely recovered?
Thanks for your help!!!
