MY LG vu won't charge?

I got it maybe eight months ago and I'm not sure if it's under warrenty still
I would have to call and ask

usually, when I plug it in it reads charging on the screen. A few days ago, it stopped saying charging and the battery died while it was plugged in. I have not been able to charge it at all since then. I brought it to the AT&T store and they tested both the phone and the charger and said they were fine. They sent me home with another charger but when I tried it nothing happened. I've tested both chargers in several outlets but nothing seems to work

has anyone else had this problem? Will I have to buy a new phone? I'm planning on taking it in again tomorrow.

Also the phone has not been damaged in any way besides a small scratch on the back, so I don't think it's a wear and tear related problem
 
perhaps you should try buying a battery off ebay. did you drop water on it or something. it would really help to know if the warranty is still active. it usually lasts about a year with phones.
