My LG (Verizon Wireless service) phone shows an unopened text message symbol on the

main screen...? but I don't have one. I think it came up because I was in the process of downloading a picture from a pic message but I pressed Exit. Is there any way I can get rid of this symbol on the main screen? Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks!
