my lg spring fusic phone is not respnding to the charger if i freeze the battery

will it charge up? for some reason my lg fusic is not charging up.if there is a way that i can open the phone up and push the piece in side the phone that charges down can you tell me but the other question is if i freeze the batter will it charge .....and i don'tt have insurance on the phonebecausee thePhonene if off and it cant be turned back on
