My LG Chocolate Touch mic is not working?

My LG Chocolate Touch Mic isn't working. It has gotten wet but the marks on the phone don't indicate its wet. If i talk in it you can't heat but if I yell you can hear something like a mumble. Please help I don't have insurance and do not want to buy a new phone, but if do I would like to know how much it will cause to replace it. Thank You Very Much
