My male leopard gecko has a wound with a flap of skin hanging on his tail. He was shedding earlier and was fine before shedding and had a clean shed. I took the female gecko out of the tank because i assumed she bit him. I have 16 geckos and have experienced injuries before. The problem is he keeps biting and pulling on the flap of skip making it bleed more. I am worried he is really going to hurt himself. its almost as if he is biting at his skin like when he sheds. It is too late at night to get him to any vet right now. He is not on sand. Thanks any suggestions would be great!
