Im a soccer player and have a problem with my left leg in general. When i am running, i feel i have to tell my left leg to move/run. Its very frustrating, it feels like my left leg has lost the ability to move or want to move. I can run, but i run slower than i can and whenever i do agility drills my left knee begins to hurt as my left leg doesnt really move that much. I'm going to see a specialist doctor, but can someone who is familiar with this tell me anything. Another way i can explain it is taht my left leg almost drags and doesnt lift as high as my right when running, unless i literally think about it, which i shouldnt have to do.
Also, i suffered an injury to my hip where i think i hyperextended it a while ago, but didnt go to the doctor, just let it heal, i dont know if it has anything to do with this. I hurt my hip about 5-6 months ago.
