My Las Vegas Touch Pro Working

I have been on these pages for 4 days, have flashed my phone and have gotten some aspects working but need to know if i should be happy with what i have or if more can be achieved.

This is the last page i visited which has led me to form this thread..

it says that i cannot use a flashed phone in an AWS market

my Sprint Touch Pro that i flashed WORKS and i live here in Las Vegas

GPS works but since internet does not my little blue location symbol just bounces around a pretty blank map on Google Maps the reason i say pretty blank is because portions of the map were loaded while the phone was connected through wifi (i.e. connect at home then drive to work blue icon moves due west)


Can someone please give me a definitive answer.

oh and by the way every single PRL i used and i tried over 15 in the prl sticky does not work. i have to use my old sprint prl
 
Cricket is now offering nation wide talk and text using the Sprint network. and some rumors say that cricket will have 3g roaming on the Sprint network very soon.
That is why your working in the AWS market, also why data isn't working yet. As for the PRL's well it doesn't surprise me to see you connecting using a Sprint PRL.
 
thank you whitey for a timely and seemingly accurate response i came to this deduction as well after all the cricket PRLs failed, and reloading the sprint prl resolved my issue

i spoke with a cricket "supervisor" and he stated that a dual band phone would get internet in the las vegas market however i did not tell him i had a touch pro but rather a dual band razr v3 for fear of him disabling my internet

p.s. if you know someone with the "cricket mafia" it would be awesome if they changed this, it may be discouraging a great number of cricket users who live in possible markets...their statements are highly regarded and it was that website post that stopped me dead in my tracks
