My laptop all of a sudden stopped picking up any wireless.?

There's probably a button on your laptop (one of the F- keys) that has a picture of an antenna with radio waves coming out of it. Hold down the FN key, and press that button to toggle your wireless radio on and off.
 
I was picking up just unsecured wireless and then all of a sudden it won't pick anything up. Even when I go to my house and use my own wireless router it still doesn't pick it up. Anyone have a clue why?
it is a dell inspiron 1501,little over 2 years old
