I moved into a townhouse with 2 roommates. 1 roomate was a tenant like myself while the other owns the property. About 8 months after living here, the other tenant moves due to work purposes. He informed me that the landlord of the house was a registered sex offender. I looked it up and sure enough, he is.
I've had my son stay here with me on occasion (2 year old), but the landlord has never spoken of his registry. He's a good guy and an asset to the community we live in, I've nothing against him in those regards.
I'm just wondering if I should have been notified since we live at the same address AND I've had my child stay here before.
I know a landlord doesn't have to tell tenants about a nearby sex offender, but what about if the Landlord IS a sex offender?
