just keep an eye on her and see if she continues to bite on it, she might be playing, but it shouldnt do that much damage to her tail, maybe call a vet, but if u dont wanna spend the money just secretly observe her behavior and maybe you will figure it out :)
good luck :D

This sounds like your cat might have a tick. Cats are known to get more ticks then dogs, even indoor ones. Cats will claw themselves raw to try and get rid of the pest, but this can help the tick by forming openings for the tick to burrow into. With a magnifying glass, closely inspect your WHOLE cat with a small toothed comb. If a tick isn't the problem and your cat is biting itself, you can buy a nontoxic but bitter solution at the pet store for this problem. Rub a little on the cats tail and he will no longer want to bite himself. This will also stop the other cat from biting just in case. I hope this helps!

Today our 6 or 7 week old kitten started bleeding all over the place from the tip of her tail, and we couldnt figure out why. But we saw her biting and playing with it and I think she just played too rough with it, but the very tip is raw and bloody and we dont know if maybe something got a hold of her?

We have a 3 year old neutered male cat that plays with her, but we dont think he did it. And neither of them ever go outside, so I dont think another animal did it.

Any ideas?
