I dont even know really why I'm posting this...I guess maybe I just need some reassurance and understanding from people who might have been in the same situation as me...
I was at home last night and all of a sudden 2 lady's came to the door and asked my Dad if we owned a cat with a pink collar & bell...I didnt think anything of it at the time as I didnt hear them, untill I saw them standing outside looking at the ground. I went outside and needless to say it was Mia - my beloved cat of 1 year.
I'm just so mixed up with emotion. And I'm so confused as I'm not one to normally get so easily upset. She simply ran infront of a moving car and got hit. The lady who hit her stopped, as did another lady who saw it. One was crying for me and telling me it was OK to pat her...
We buried her straight away. But I am just so so so overwhelmed with grief and I cant understand it.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? This is killing me inside!
