my key wont turn in my 2003 Chevy Cavalier..?

that would more than likely be in the key and tumblers on that one,try another key if you have one,sometimes a key will get a bad spot on them and cause this too happen and using a different key will make them work again,make sure though that the steering wheel isn't in a bind ,if it is the key wont turn over easy at all,good luck.

your steering wheel might be locked as well. its a security mechanism. try turning both the steering wheel and the key at the sametime.

you can try pushing the key more first before turning it.

if your car is has automatic transmission, make sure your at Park.

is it because of the ignition switch, or the tumblers? or both?

Try turning the key upside down Some times one side gets worn more than the other

turn the wheel a little then hold the wheel there and turn the key
