My K790a and Att's simple silliness

Hey, It's been a while..but I have recently started using a k790a, and I love it! I only wish it had 3g..

I bought the phone unlocked and dropped my old sim card in from a v3 razr and I'm set..no probs. I'm using the internet checkin out other forums and downloading pics and stuff like a mad man...

Question: Using the internet with your phones,
Has anyone else noticed that Pictures don't always download correctly?

It's been on and off working then not...

I am only getting like 5kb of a 300kb image, and it ends up looking like a sand picture...or whatever-junk...animated gifs are now d/l the right way (they still animoot)

this happens with both my phones browser, and the much better opera mini 3.1 and beta 4. Really great app that opera is,btw..get it if you don't have it..

I can't talk to support until i hook my old (dead) v3razr back up because they won't support devices you don't buy from att...

Wait for the K850i. It supports US 3G.



Contact SE Support. More than likely they can help you out with your needs. Normally, CSRs from providers can't help you because, like you stated, a cell phone is not carried in their lineup. However, there are some that would be obliged to help. Just remember that the majority of cell phone users think that what is available for them is only what carriers offer. Even with people who work in the cell phone industry, sometimes they don't know what's offered outside of branded packaged deals.
